I have been studying photography since the age of thirteen when  I built my first black and white darkroom at my parents house in La Mirada, Ca.  with the help of my older brother Manny.  My first influence  in  professional photography  was the  work of Ansel Adams. The way he captured nature and brought his images  to life  through his lens simply amazed  me. From those early beginnings I was hooked  as I saw  my images develop into long lasting memories.  Admittedly even though I carried a camera everywhere I went I basically stayed  away form taking photographs of people , rather focusing on nature. 

Through the years keeping my photography to  myself and to my family as I basically became "the family photographer" never realizing my potential as  a professional photographer until my late twenties. In the meantime I worked in retail management,  and while  the money was there I just simply was not happy and the end of the day.

I started off moderately as an in home baby photographer with a company based in Orange County, Ca. 

After that I moved on to acquire more lab and professional lab experience working as a custom black and white printer for a well known sports company.  Eventually I worked my way out of the lab and on to the photography staff where I found I could use my talents as a naturalist photographer and people skills I developed over years of working retail to make a living and come home happy.

For the past seventeen years now I have manged  the Photography Department at the same company maintaining the highest standards in photography.  Over the years I have photographed countless sports teams, military and civic agencies.

Now putting all my experiences together I plan to focus more on family portraits and wedding photography.
